Ray Bradbury depicts a chilling tale in this short story. The buildup to the actual event was suspenseful and well executed. Bradbury was able to hint at his point without outright stating it. I think it’s an interesting way to warn us about the dangers of technology. While I don’t think that technology will develop into physically harming us, I do think that it is already beginning to harm us in mental, emotional, and social aspects. Additionally I applaud his use of language throughout this piece. It was strong and descriptive in a way that really created a scene in my mind.
